As a food reviewer, I can't help but gush about some standout dishes that have captured the hearts of diners. For a wholesome start to your day, the Steve Cook Avocado Toast is a must-try. Picture perfectly ripe avocado spread over wheat or sourdough bread, crowned with a sunny egg, cotija cheese, and the crunchiness of pepitas. It’s not just delicious; it’s also a vibrant blend of textures and flavors that leave you feeling satisfied yet energized.
For those leaning toward health-conscious choices, the Christian Guzman Muscle Builder offers a protein-packed option with scrumptious egg whites, turkey bacon, and a side of fluffy English muffins or diced yams. Meanwhile, the Vegan Scramble, filled with grilled soyrizo, vibrant vegetables, and avocado mash, serves as a delightful surprise not just for vegans but for everyone seeking a hearty meal sans eggs.
One of the café's shining stars is undoubtedly the Chilaquiles. Customers rave about its lighter interpretation, where the house-made corn tortilla chips find their sweet spot amid a gently spiced mild red sauce. As customer Carol G. noted, these aren’t heavy but rather refreshing, making them perfect for any brunch enthusiast or first-timer eager to explore a Mexican classic.

I wanted to try something that I didn't have back home. This was my first time trying the chilaquiles and I've been thinking about it ever since. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the service was fast. I also loved the music they played. I even asked what station they were playing. I can't wait to come back.

This restaurant is a very small mom and Pop location. There is a decent wait time if you go here, so just be prepared. The food here was decent. I ordered the basic breakfast plate so it was not anything extraordinary. I wasn't really super hungry to be eating something filling so I just opted to try something simple. My baby liked it. I will probably go back here but order for takeout, because the space is very small. I have a baby as well, so that takes up a lot of space. So just know that bigger parties is harder to accommodate here because of the size.

I went on a weekday (Friday morning). There was not a long wait and I was seated fairly quickly. My server (glasses and dark hair) was very friendly and accommodating. I asked to see some merch and he was enthusiastic to show me them. The red chilaquiles with chicken and scrambled eggs was very yummy. Usually chilaquiles can be overwhelming and heavy, but these didn't leave you feeling groggy afterwards. I think it might be because they use higher quality chips. In any case, I liked them. Note: The red sauce is not like an enchiladas sauce if that's what you were expecting. It's a really mild red sauce and is suitable even if you have a low spice tolerance. It would be nice to come back again sometime.

The price and taste is unbeatable! We've done take out from this place a few times and it's honestly so delicious and affordable. The service each time is amazing the staff really take the time to chat with you and always have a positive attitude. The only thing is this place is a bit small so I'm sure wait time on the weekends can get bad. I do recommend take out!

It's very small and we had a little bit of a hard time finding it but the coffee, the food and the service was amazing! Plenty of options including Vegan. We will definitely be going back soon!!! The ambiance was cozy too.

Took me and my girlfriend here on a whim. Was looking for an intimate, sit down breakfast spot without having to wait an hour to be seated (you know the kind of places i'm talking about). This place fit the bill! Now do keep in mind they have a maximum party size of 6 i wanna say? due to the size of their little cafe. We arrived, were seated quickly, and serviced the same. A total staff of three were seen running around but nobody seemed particularly stressed. We ordered the french toast and chilaquiles. Both were great ESPECIALLY the chilaquiles with chorizo. The olla was delicious and needed no additional cream or sugar. It was a bit on the pricey side, but i was expecting as much. Nothing bad to say at all! only praise

Discovering this breakfast/brunch restaurant was a delightful experience. The cozy and clean atmosphere immediately makes you feel at ease. Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes a welcoming charm, perfect for an intimate meal. The customer service here is top-notch. Despite having only one server and one cook, both were incredibly nice and attentive, ensuring that every guest felt valued and well taken care of. Due to the limited space, they accommodate parties of up to six people, which helps maintain the intimate and cozy ambiance. One thing to note is that they add a gratuity of 20% for groups of four or more, which is a fair practice given the personalized service and small team. The food is simply phenomenal. Every dish has a homemade quality that makes you feel like you're eating at your mom's kitchen table. One highlight is their cafe de olla, which is exceptionally good and adds a special touch to the meal. Overall, this restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious homey food, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a heartfelt and satisfying meal.
